The assembly of an inhaler is a complex process. Every device is made up of several components, such as the body, mouthpiece, dosing mechanism, canister and cap, which must be assembled to very tight tolerances and verified with functional testing integrated in line. Sytec designs inhaler assembly lines based on linear transfer, able to process several models on the same line with minimal format-changeover times.
The lines manage the entire production cycle: automatic component feeding, sequential assembly, functional testing with verification of the delivery rate, leak testing and dimensional control, all the way to marking and packaging. The proprietary control software also ensures full traceability of every inhaler produced and integration with the customer’s systems.
