Electromechanical assembly lines for the industrial sector

Electromechanical assembly lines for the industrial sector

Sytec designs and builds custom electromechanical assembly lines for the industrial sector.

MECHANICS

Electromechanical assembly for industry

An electromechanical component combines the precision of mechanics with the complexity of electronics. Bearings, shafts and housings must coexist with windings, wiring and printed circuit boards within the same product. For this reason, electromechanical assembly requires lines capable of handling very different materials, tolerances and processes within the same production sequence.

Sytec designs assembly lines dedicated to the complete assembly of electromechanical components. The stations handle, in sequence, mechanical operations such as pressing, screwdriving and fitting, and electrical operations such as wiring, connector soldering and insulation testing. Every station is equipped with dedicated fixtures and control systems that verify both the mechanical and the electrical conformity of the component. In addition, Sytec’s proprietary software manages the entire production flow and allows full integration with the customer’s systems for complete traceability of every piece assembled.

The systems for electromechanical assembly are designed around the customer’s specifications and tested in-house at the Ponzano Veneto facility before delivery.

Automated assembly line for the medical industry designed and built by Sytec Group.

The main challenge in electromechanical assembly is the coexistence of mechanical processes and electrical processes on the same line. Sytec solves this complexity by designing systems where every station is optimized for its own operation, mechanical or electrical, yet all of them communicate through a single supervision system. The industrial robots are integrated by Sytec for the operations that require precision and flexibility, from the handling of fragile components to automated wiring.

Sytec electromechanical assembly lines are designed to handle the dual mechanical and electrical complexity without compromise. Every system, in fact, performs mechanical checks and electrical tests in sequence on every piece, with automatic management of rejects and non-conformities. In addition, all assembly and testing data is automatically acquired and stored to ensure full traceability of every component produced.

Electromechanical assembly integrated into mechanical sector automation

Sytec electromechanical assembly lines are not stand-alone systems. They integrate, in fact, within robotic cells and wider systems, where mechanical assembly and electrical wiring take place in sequence without interruptions. In this way, every component is assembled, tested and traced within the same system.

In addition to electromechanical assembly, Sytec designs and builds motor assembly lines and systems for mechanical assembly of every type: reduction gears, pumps, compressors, actuators and precision small parts. The systems also integrate with electronic testing systems for the electrical checks on hybrid components. Thanks to ISO 9001:2015 certification, every system therefore meets the quality standards required by customers.
