SYTEC GROUP

Mechanical assembly and automation systems for industry

Producing mechanical components in series requires precision, repeatability and high output rates. Automating mechanical assembly consequently means reducing production costs, eliminating assembly errors and increasing production capacity without expanding the workforce. Sytec is an industrial automation company specialized in the design and construction of turnkey industrial assembly lines for the mechanical sector.

Sytec is an industrial automation company specialized in the design and construction of turnkey industrial assembly lines for the mechanical sector. From electric motors to small metal parts, from subassemblies to precision components, every system starts from an in-depth analysis of the customer’s production process. The lines handle, in particular, assembly, controlled-torque screwdriving, pressing, riveting, welding and in-line quality-control operations.

Every industrial mechanical automation system is developed entirely in the 4,500 sqm facility in Ponzano Veneto, from mechanical design to PLC control software, all the way to final testing. Sytec guarantees full traceability, process repeatability and competitive delivery times.

An integrated approach to automation in the mechanical sector

Sytec approaches every mechanical automation project with a consolidated method, from the technical specification to in-line commissioning.

Custom design
Custom design

Before designing any system, the customer’s component is analyzed: geometries, tolerances, materials, volumes and variants. This phase, in fact, defines the architecture of the entire assembly line.

Integrated assembly and testing
Integrated assembly and testing

Every line for mechanical assembly is designed and built in-house at the facility. Mechanics, electronics and software are created under the same roof, with no outsourcing of critical parts.

Integrated robotics
Integrated robotics

Anthropomorphic, SCARA and collaborative industrial robots are integrated into the industrial assembly lines, ensuring flexibility across multiple product variants.

In-house testing and validation
In-house testing and validation

Every system is tested and validated in-house with the customer’s actual components. The result is a system that is already ready for production at the time of installation.

Automated assembly lines for mechanical components

Sytec builds automation systems dedicated to the main components of the mechanical sector. Every system is designed as a turnkey solution and can include assembly lines, robotic cells, test benches and integrated vision systems.

These are just some of the applications Sytec builds for the mechanical sector. Lines for mechanical assembly are also designed and built for reduction gears, pumps, compressors, actuators, plus assembly lines for small metal parts and precision subassemblies. Every mechanical automation system is designed to measure around the customer’s specifications.

From part feeding to end-of-line testing

The automation systems for the mechanical sector cover the entire production cycle of the component: feeding, assembly, quality control and functional testing.

The lines for mechanical assembly handle assembly, screwdriving, pressing, welding, bonding, riveting, sealing, labeling and marking operations. The industrial automation robots are integrated by Sytec, in particular, for the handling, load/unload and control operations. The testing systems also perform leak tests, functional tests, electrical tests and dimensional checks with automatic data acquisition for full traceability of every piece produced. The result is consequently an industrial mechanical automation system that reduces cycle times, cuts rejects and guarantees compliance with the quality standards required by the customer.

Control software

Every system built by Sytec is supplied with proprietary software. The system controls all the robotic and electronic components of the line, from the management of industrial assembly cycles to data acquisition from the testing systems. The software also ensures full integration with the customer’s systems for complete traceability of every piece produced.

Automation and assembly for the mechanical sector. From design to commissioning

No outsourcing of critical parts, no intermediary between those who design and those who build. In the mechanical sector, in fact, this integrated approach makes the difference. As a result, validation times are reduced and quality is guaranteed right from the industrial automation design stage.

Every system, from the motor assembly line to precision small-parts assembly, is tested and validated in-house before reaching the customer. The industrial mechanical automation systems also integrate with the customer’s PLC and MES/ERP systems for complete control of the production flow. For this reason, ISO 9001:2015 certification is the concrete guarantee of this commitment.
