Filling a container with a liquid seems like a simple operation. It is not. Foaming alters the actual volume, product viscosity changes with temperature, the container materials impose constraints on filling speed, and the chemical compatibility between the liquid and the line’s seals determines the system’s service life. For this reason, an industrial liquid filling line requires a design that starts from the product, not from the machine.
Sytec approaches every project starting from the real characteristics of the customer’s liquid: viscosity, density, chemical aggressiveness, process temperature and dosing requirements define the choice of filling technology, whether volumetric, gravimetric, piston-based or mass-flow.
From pouch to drum: every container format
Sytec filling lines handle containers of every format and material. The stations can be configured for filling rigid bottles in PE, PET or glass, for integrating a pouch filling and sealing machine for flexible pouches, for filling industrial jerricans and drums, and for dosing into tubes and sachets.
Each line integrates, in sequence, the operations of container feeding, dosing, filling, closing or sealing, weight control, labeling and secondary packaging. When the product is supplied in flexible packaging, the pouch filling and sealing machine forms, fills and seals each pouch within the same line. Sytec’s proprietary software manages the automatic format changeover and communication with the customer’s management system, ensuring complete traceability of every batch produced.
Industrial robots are integrated by Sytec for pick-and-place, handling and case-packing of finished products. The systems are engineered to the customer’s specifications and tested in-house at the plant before delivery.
