Assembly and testing lines for the home appliance sector
Sytec designs and builds custom home appliance assembly lines and testing systems for the industrial sector.
Home appliance manufacturing is a sector where complexity grows year after year. Every new model introduces different variants, materials and components that the production line must handle without losing efficiency. For this reason, investing in automation means responding to the growing variety of products while maintaining high output rates and consistent quality.
Sytec designs assembly lines dedicated to the assembly and testing of components and subassemblies for small and large home appliances. The stations handle mechanical assembly, screwdriving, pressing, electrical wiring, welding and in-line quality-control operations. The testing systems perform, in particular, electrical safety tests, functional tests and conformity checks on every piece produced. In addition, Sytec’s proprietary software allows the automatic format changeover and full integration with the customer’s systems for complete traceability of every appliance assembled.
The systems for home appliance assembly are designed around the customer’s specifications and tested in-house at the Ponzano Veneto facility before delivery.
In the home appliance manufacturing chain, the main challenge is managing the growing complexity of products without sacrificing productivity. Sytec responds to this challenge by designing flexible lines that adapt quickly to new models and variants. The industrial robots are integrated by Sytec for the handling, load/unload and assembly operations on components of different sizes and materials. Every system is tested at the facility with the customer’s actual components before delivery.
Years of experience
Specialized staff
m² of production facility
Cycle time in seconds per assembled subassembly
Electrical safety test on every piece
Product variants handled on the same line
Full traceability of every appliance
The values shown refer to typical configurations and may vary depending on the specifications of the customer’s project and product.
The appliance assembly lines are designed to handle the growing variety of models without line stoppages. Each system manages format changeover automatically, adapting fixtures, assembly programs, and testing parameters to the model being processed. In addition, all assembly and testing data are captured and stored automatically to ensure full traceability and compliance with the industry’s safety regulations.
Sytec home appliance assembly lines are not stand-alone systems. They integrate, in fact, within robotic cells and wider systems, where assembly, wiring and testing take place in sequence without interruptions in the production flow. In this way, every appliance or subassembly is assembled, tested and traced within the same system.
