An electronic board is a set of miniaturized components that must be positioned, soldered and tested with micrometric precision. Resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, connectors: every component has specific positioning and soldering-temperature requirements. For this reason, automating electronic board assembly is the most effective choice to guarantee consistent quality over large volumes.
Sytec designs assembly lines dedicated to the complete assembly of electronic boards with SMD and THT technology. The stations handle solder-paste dispensing, component placement, reflow soldering, SMD assembly with high-speed pick-and-place and through-hole component insertion. In sequence, the automatic optical inspection (AOI) systems verify the conformity of every assembled board. In addition, Sytec’s proprietary software manages the entire production flow and allows full integration with the customer’s systems, ensuring the traceability of every single board.
The systems for electronic board assembly are designed around the customer’s specifications and tested in-house at the Ponzano Veneto facility before delivery.

They integrate, in fact, with the testing benches for electronics downstream, where every board undergoes electrical tests, functional tests and insulation checks.
