Sytec designs test benches dedicated to the electrical sector. Our systems run high voltage insulation tests, on load tripping tests on circuit breakers, functional checks on transformers, continuity and contact resistance tests on switching equipment, and conformity controls on electrical wiring. In particular, the wire harness testing equipment verifies the correct connection of every single conductor, detecting reversals, short circuits and open circuits with automatic data acquisition.
The proprietary Sytec software also manages the test sequences, captures every testing parameter and transmits it to the customer’s systems for complete traceability of every tested device. All systems for electrical equipment testing are engineered to the customer’s specifications and tested in house at the company plant.
The main challenge in electrical equipment testing is the variety of products and reference standards. A power circuit breaker, a transformer and an industrial wire harness each require completely different test procedures.
