The transmission is one of the most complex components of a vehicle. For this reason, gearbox assembly requires high-precision lines, able to handle dozens of components with very tight tolerances and strict assembly sequences.
Sytec designs assembly lines dedicated to the complete assembly of automatic and manual transmissions. The stations handle gear insertion, bearing fitting, controlled-torque screwdriving, synchronizer assembly and housing sealing. In sequence, the testing systems perform electrical insulation tests, functional tests under load, torque checks and dimensional controls on every transmission produced. Every station is equipped with high-precision actuators and sensors to ensure process repeatability. In addition, Sytec’s proprietary software allows full integration with the customer’s systems, thereby ensuring the traceability of every single transmission assembled and tested.
The systems for gearbox assembly are designed around the customer’s specifications and tested in-house at the facility before delivery.
