The gear and gearmotor test bench is a functional testing system that allows the execution of stress tests on the product; it is capable of verifying the mechanical and dynamic characteristics of reducers for electric motors, enabling a parametric configuration of the test sequence, which can be repeated up to a million times to analyze component behavior by simulating usage comparable to their theoretical lifespan.
The gear test benches are designed to provide optimal results with reducers for electric or hydraulic motors/gear motors.
The test bench allows the following checks and manages the following information:
- Elapsed time since the start of the test
- Current cycle and phase number
- Direction of rotation
- Instantaneous speed of drive and contrast motors
- Instantaneous torque of drive and contrast motors
- Temperature of the probe
- Product efficiency
The system can be enhanced with the following functions:
- Saving significant magnitudes at a high sample rate
- Detection of torque peaks in traction
- Calculation of efficiency drift
- Measurement of backlash
- RMS detection of gearbox vibration (accelerometer)
